Dendrological garden
The dendrological garden in Pereslavl-Zalessky is a part of the national park "Plescheevo Lake". The garden was founded by the honoured forestry worker of the RSFSR Kharitonov Sergey Fedorovich in the 60s of the XX century. The territory of the garden is arranged in a landscape style, and all plants are represented in 8 geographical sections-expositions in accordance with their origin: North America, Crimea and the Caucasus, the Far East, Japan and China, Siberia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Central Asia.
The Museum of Steam Locomotives
In the village of Talitsy, on the site of an inoperative depot, which belongs to the narrow-gauge railway of the former Kupan transport department, a private railway museum is located. There is a collection of locomotives, wagons, various railway equipment, as well as the accompanying machines and mechanisms of the late XIX - early first half of the XX century. In spring, summer and autumn the museum is open for visits daily, except Monday and Tuesday, from 10am to 6pm, and in winter - until 5pm.
